Ureristic S.A.S. (hereinafter, "Ureristic", "we" or "the Platform"), domiciled at Av. República de El Salvador N35-67, Quito, Ecuador, with RUC 1792847653001, is committed to protecting the privacy of our users' personal data in accordance with Ecuador's Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) effective since 2023.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Ureristic S.A.S., registered with the Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros of Ecuador. You can contact us at: privacidad@ureristic.com or at our physical address indicated above.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following data when you interact with our platform: full name, email address, identity card number (for investor verification), IP address, browsing data, and technical cookies. In the contact form, we only collect: name, email, and the content of your message.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to: (a) manage your account and verify your identity; (b) process and administer investments; (c) comply with legal and regulatory obligations; (d) send you communications about the status of your investments; (e) improve our services through anonymized statistical analysis; (f) respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form.
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on: your express consent (Art. 7 LOPDP), the execution of the contractual relationship, compliance with legal obligations before the Superintendencia de Compañías and the Financial and Economic Analysis Unit (UAFE), and our legitimate interest in improving our services.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the described purposes and, at minimum, for the periods required by Ecuadorian legislation: 7 years for financial and tax data, 5 years for commercial communications data. Contact form data is deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
6. Your rights
Under the LOPDP, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, delete data when no longer necessary, object to processing, request data portability, and revoke your consent. To exercise these rights, write to privacidad@ureristic.com with your request and a copy of your ID.
7. International transfers
Your data may be transferred to technology service providers located outside Ecuador, provided they offer an adequate level of protection in accordance with Art. 39 of the LOPDP. We currently use servers in the United States with SOC 2 Type II certification.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication, continuous access monitoring, and periodic security audits by independent third parties.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update this policy. We will notify you of any material changes by email and/or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 15 days in advance.
